Our Founder's Bio

My name is Emma McCoy, I was raised on a farm. I got my first cat of my own at the age of 3. I began riding and showing horses at a young age. At 13 I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work and train with a very talented and knowledgeable couple. She had a background in English and he had a background in Western. They were both top level riders and trainers. I was able to learn so much from them including training, teaching, judging, farm mgmt,  and animal care which not only included horses but many other animals as well.
Then I went to college and graduated with degrees in Aninal Science pre-vet and Agriculture Bus Mgmt and minored in Nutrition, both animal and human. 
A couple years after graduating I started a horse farm and began rescuing cats and dogs.
Now just over twenty years later I am still rescuing and rehabilitating animals and my life has been dedicated to them every day. I do not take sick days, holidays, or vacations days. My whole life is about caring for animals. .
